Here is a list of some good After Work!

Glass Bar - Carrera de San Jeronimo 34, at the 5 star Urban hotel. Very chic, very luxurious, pretty people. If you want dinner before and after they have an excellent restaurant. 

Boggo - Calle Velazquez 102, also bar and restaurant. Modern, classic and elegant at the same time. Take a drink after work or several before going out. 

Loft 39 - Calle Velazquez 39, a very big and nice place, New York style with good background lounge music. Tasty cocktails.

Real Cafe Bernabeu - Avenida de Concha Espina 1, at the Bernabeu stadium, the hotspot for all Castellana office workers, perfect at spring/summer time when the terrace is open.

Gin Club Madrid - They say they have the best gin tonics in Madrid at this Hindu decorated place. A lot of different gin tonics, comfy sofas, a lot of pillows... If you like gin tonic you can't miss Gin Club Madrid. 

Midnight Rose - At the Me hotel in Plaza Santa Ana. Glamorous and elegant. Excellent dinner and very good cocktails. Beautiful place.

Another closet, a very big and good one.

If I could have a closet I would love to have The Japanese Closet in Calle del Pez 11-13. A 2 floor shop with a lot of brands, Cheap Monday, Nudie, Maje, Givenchy, American Retro, Fred Perry etc etc etc.

You will definitely find something!!  Both for girls and boys. Clothes, shoes, make-up, accessories... 

Petit Comité

Talking about restaurants and eating out, have you been at Petit Comité? Its a beautiful spanish/french restaurant in the center of Madrid, Calle Reina 15. The food is excellent, meat, fish, salads... The prices are around 20-25(30) euros. On the page you can see their menu. It's closed on sundays.

Dinner discounts!

If you are going out for dinner why not going to a place with a discount that day? The page Mas Mesa gives you all the choices and you can make the reservation from the page. Totally worth it. 10 - 50 % off its a good deal! They have a lot of different restaurants too, and not only in Madrid, in Barcelona, Rome, Paris, London etc etc too. Take a look and maybe go out for dinner tonight?

It's La Latina Sunday!

It's sunday and sunday is Rastro and La Latina day. To enjoy the last really good, almost summer weather the perfect plan is La Latina, terrace, friends and "party".

Passing by Plaza Mayor and going down on Calle de Toledo you will find the beginning of La Latina, or going all Calle los Cuchilleros where the famous oldest restaurant Botin is placed you will come to Plaza de Puerta Cerrada. 

Going down Segovia you will find La Divina Comedia, a very good and popular bar, very good atmosphere.   

But if you want to start with a very excellent (or dinner later) lunch then Cava Baja will offer you very good food at Madrids most famous restaurants, Casa Lucio or Julian de Tolosa for example. 

If you continue on Calle del Almendro, one of the streets going out from Cava Baja, then you can go to a little bar called Almendro 13, beers for 1,30-1,50 and very good tapas.

But if you stay at Cava Baja you will find a lot of bars, Lamiak is one of them, a very good one and popular.

On the end of Cava Baja you will come to Plaza de la Cebada on one side and Plaza del Humilladero on the other side. On both "plazas" you will find different terraces. La Potente for example or La Tomasa. 

At the end of Cava Alta, almost in Plaza de la Cebada, you have El Viajero, one of the best places in spring/summer, with their roof terrace. Very good, don't miss it.

On Plaza del Humilladero you can go down on Constanilla de San Andres and Plaza de la Paja with the church on one side, there you can find other bars and terraces and lots of people and good atmosphere. Delic Cafe is a popular spot. Or you can go straight to Calle de los Mancebos where there are other options, one of them, Ugly Paddy, an irish pub. 

Other streets with a bit of the same, would be Calle del Humilladero and Calle de Toledo also... 

La Latina is full of places and surprises, you will absolutly find one/several you like. Enjoy this sunday!

Dinner in bed.

Are you dreaming about dinner in a white comfy bed? Then you have to go to LayDown for dinner or drinks, and not only for the beds, the dinner and the atmosphere is very good too. 25 - 30 euros each for almost everything. The place is really cool. They have acts and djs playing too. Make a reservation before, just in case. If you haven't been there you have to go! Plaza de los Mostenses 4.

Instituto Cervantes exhibition, Grafika its really cool. Urban art. If you pass by, Calle Alcala 49, you should definitely go inside. Its free and very interesting!!

Are you a longboard girl you have to check this out, a group of girls (and a boy) created this concept/group, Longboard Girls Crew tired of being "soft" on a longboard-boys-world. So if you like to ride or you want to start practicing, you should contact them. They can give you tips and news.

12 de Octubre means "bank holiday" and therefore there are a lot of plans you could do on this day, enjoying the day 100 %.

At 10:30 from Cuzco to Nuevos Ministerios you can attend to "Parade 12 de Octubre". with the military forces, the royal family, president etc.

If you like Art and Design you could go for free to several museums on this special day, for example Museo Reina Sofia and Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza.

Wants adventure? Parque de Atracciones de Madrid and Warner Bros Park is open tomorrow for the special occasion.

Theater maybe? La Duarte - Eva Peróns life at Teatro Canal, Cea Bermudez 9. If you can't go tomorrow you have til the 16th of October.

Or a muscial? Hair at Arteria Coliseum, Gran Via 78, Shrek The Musical at Teatro Nuevo Apolo, Plaza Tirso de Molina 7 or Mas de 100 Mentiras - Sabina at Teatro Rialto, Gran Via 54.

Dj Night. Noche de Dj's.

Tomorrow is "fiesta nacional" and  as (almost) everyone is free on wednesday, Madrid has some good electronic parties going on tonight for the ones that loves to go out.

At Fabrik tonight you can see 2 Many Dj´s, Dj Hell and Anthony Rother. If you arrive before 00:30 the price is 20 euros and you get 2 drinks. Very good price! The nearest Metro is MetroSur, Fuenlabrada Central.

Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Jochen Miller is also playing in Madrid, at Madrid Arena, Casa de Campo. You can go and enjoy their music for 25 euros.
